Inspiration

A favorite blogger and artist of mine, Alisa Burke, says that we should find inspiration from our life and that we should not look for inspiration from the Internet. I like this concept. She says that even if you feel that life around you is pretty gray, you can even find inspiration in the cracks of a sidewalk.

I wanted to share with you some of the places I have found inspiration in my life. I have an almost 4 year old son, so keep that in mind.

Toys: One place I find inspiration is from my son's toys.
Here is a quilt block idea, I made from my son's toys.

TV Shows: Another place I find inspiration are from cartoons my son watches.
I liked the colors in these cartoons.

Children's Books: Another place I find inspiration is from children's books. I liked this story of the Rainbow Weaver. I want to recreate a quilt that is similar to the types of weaving in the book.

Items in Life: This is the floor of my parent's bathroom. I liked the pattern of it.
