Gifts for the Holidays
I like making gifts for the holidays. This year was no different. I made some sewing gifts for Christmas. I needed to make a lot of gifts for my son's teachers, so I made a lot of tissue holders. I made more than two dozen. I ended up giving them to his teachers and to my relatives. They were a fun gift to give. I added a small package of tissues, a lip balm, and a bracelet. For my relatives I added a gift card! Here are some pictures!
These tissue holders were fun and easy to make. I found a tutorial for how to make them at the Two Brown Birds website: Tutorial for Tissue Holders.
I am also falling in lover with charm packs and I have made charm bags. This is the first one I made. I didn't get enough done for Christmas to give away, but I have been enjoying making them.
I got the pattern from the Missouri Star Quilt Company: Tote-Bag-Pattern.pdf. I also watched the You Tube Video they have to make sure I understood the pattern. You can make three bags out of one charm pack! I will definitely be making more of these!
I look forward to finishing some Unfinished Projects in the new year and sharing all of them with you. Have a Happy New Year. 2018 here we come!
