My First Quilt Show
Today I went to my first Quilt Show. It was my first show as a viewer and a participant. It was actually at the First United Methodist Church of Dearborn where I first learned to quilt.
I had one item in the show. I submitted the Fall Table Runner that I made.
I was so happy to see it hanging in the show and I got some compliments on it. One lady said it looked like a stained glass window.
| Mine was # 236! |
I had a blast looking at the quilts. There were vintage ones, traditional ones, and a few modern ones.
Here are some of the prize winners.
And here is the one I chose as the quilt I liked the best. This one is from my quilting teacher that taught me how to quilt. She showed us when she started this piece and now it is great to see the results. So beautiful.
